Fire

A fire has destroyed a mental health and substance abuse clinic that serves the Grand Rapids area.

Early Sunday morning, Lakeview Behavioral Health announced on its Facebook page that its downtown location was a "complete loss" following the blaze:

The post also made clear that the staff are all safe, as no one was in the building at the time.

"We will update later on our plans to continue to treat our clients," the clinic added.

Lakeview has two other offices: one in uptown Grand Rapids, the other in Hibbing.

According to a previous Facebook post, the downtown clinic moved to its present location less than three years ago.

There's no word yet on the cause of the fire.
