The new Mercedes-Benz car dealership in south Rochester is ready to hit the gas, the Post Bulletin reports.

"As the weeks progress, the dealership will look and feel a lot different than it does now. Our inventory is growing every day. We have Smart cars in the dealership and should have more on the lot. Our first transport of Sprinter vans came in [last week]," General Manager Dan King told the newspaper. "And, of course, we have new Mercedes-Benz all over the place."

The new 21,000-square-foot facility has 22 full-time employees and is owned by Ballweg Family of Dealerships in Wisconsin.

The Med City last had a Mercedes dealer in 1998, according to the Post Bulletin.
