Mille Lacs Lake bear rescue captured on camera
A black bear spotted swimming in Mille Lacs Lake, struggling to stay afloat, was brought to shore by anglers Monday, WCCO reports.
Fisherman aboard a Twin Pines launch trip found the bear disoriented and looking for direction about two miles from shore.
From a smaller boat, four young men tossed a life preserver ring into the water to help guide the bear, who followed the ring all the way to land at Pike Point and rested in a small tree.
