A Warroad, Minn., woman has been accused of stealing at least $22,000 in cash from her former boyfriend, although police suspect she likely swiped far more – $100,000 that the man had stuffed in his pickup truck's glove compartment, Forum Communications reports.

Venche Keeler, 36, now in a Thief River Falls, Minn., jail, admitted only to taking $22,000, police said. Prosecutors described her former boyfriend as a "vulnerable adult," Forum reports.

The 24-year-old man said he had suffered a traumatic brain injury at age 3 in a car crash involving a semi in Lake of the Woods County, Minn.

Forum reported the stolen money was part of a financial settlement from that accident that has yielded him about $800,000 since he was 18.
