Minneapolis man fatally stabbed in Brooklyn Center is ID'd
The man who was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn Center on Saturday has been identified as a 40-year-old Minneapolis man.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office, Gus Lewis Jr. died from a stab wound to the chest at 1:30 a.m. at North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Brooklyn Center police officers responded to the 5500 block of Humboldt Avenue shortly after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, where they found Lewis with a stab wound, police said over the weekend.
A woman who was in a long-term relationship with Lewis was taken into custody, police said.
