A Minneapolis man was killed last Friday in a dirt biking accident in north-central Minnesota.

Jackson Snidarich, 24 of Minneapolis, died Friday after crashing into another dirk bike in rural Pine River, Minnesota. The Cass County Sheriff's Office says Snidarich was riding on the Bull Moose Trail in the Foot Hills State Forest when he rounded a corner and slid into another dirt bike.

First responders attempted to save Snidarich but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Both bikers were wearing helmets. The other rider was uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation by the sheriff's office.

Foot Hills State Forest is located between Brainerd and Bemidji.
