Minneapolis man's body found in Dakota County culvert

His death was determined to be a homicide.

The body of a 39-year-old Minneapolis man was found in a culvert in Dakota County on Monday, and his death has been ruled a homicide. 

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office says a passerby found Manuel Mandujano's body in a culvert under a field approach about a mile east of Chippendale Avenue and 255th Street West in Castle Rock Township around 9 a.m. Monday, April 26.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Mandujano's death a homicide.

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office and Minneapolis Police Department are investigating the case.
