Minneapolis police say they have found a woman who went missing under mysterious circumstances, and they say that she is safe, KARE 11 reports. No other details were immediately available about her disappearance.

Cynthia Janette Sullivan, 46, had been set to testify against her ex-boyfriend in an assault case this month when she disappeared, Fox 9 reported.

Sullivan had last been seen Oct. 24 in the parking lot of her workplace, PTI Transportation, which is located along East Hennepin Avenue. One of Sullivan's co-workers told Fox 9 that he sensed something was wrong when she stopped sending texts about 7 or 8 p.m. that night.

A missing person's report was filed Monday, and three detectives were assigned to Sullivan's case. The Minneapolis Police Department had released a brief statement regarding Sullivan, saying, "There are also extenuating circumstances that suggest she may be in danger," the Pioneer Press reported.

A driver's license photo of Sullivan with a bloodshot right eye has been circulating since she went missing. Friends and family members claim the injury was the result of an alleged assault by her ex-boyfriend in July.

Charges were filed against the man, who is on probation, Fox 9 said.
