Minneapolis police want the public's help identifying two men who may be connected to a triple shooting.

As KARE 11 reports, the men pictured above are considered persons of interest in a shooting that left three women injured on the city's north side early Wednesday.

That shooting came just hours after Police Chief Janee Harteau had walked the streets of north Minneapolis, calling on residents to put their guns down after a Fourth of July holiday weekend marked by three separate shootings in the city.

The three women shot early Wednesday were still hospitalized Thursday but were listed in stable condition and medical personnel do not consider their wounds critical.

KSTP reports prosecutors have filed charges against a 24-year-old man in connection with one of the weekend killings. The criminal complaint says Marco Gresham fatally shot Francesca Desandre, 24, and wounded another woman, the station says. The charges against Gresham include second-degree murder and attempted murder.

After walking a beat on the north side earlier in the week, Harteau spent Thursday on a bike patrol in south Minneapolis. WCCO tagged along and says the visit was a return to a precinct Harteau served as a patrol officer during the 1990s.
