Minneapolis is a hot place for college grads, despite the cold winters.

That's according to a new survey from Livability.com that says Minnesota's largest city has retained its No. 5 ranking among top cities for job-hunting 20-somethings. Minneapolis held the same position last year.

The city "attracts young job seekers by offering a highly active lifestyle, robust music scene, stable economy, high wages and affordable rental properties," the survey says.

The website cited other draws that include the city's "vast entertainment options" and a growing restaurant scene, as well as its parks, trails and Minnesota's famed 10,000 lakes.

"When it comes to keeping residents engaged in healthy pursuits, few cities compare to Minneapolis, where more than 80 percent of the city's residents get in at least 30 minutes of activity per day. Bikers, walkers and rollerbladers cruise along shoreline paths, and about 13 percent of Minneapolis residents use public transportation to get to work."

Fast facts from the ranking for Minneapolis:

– Number of 25- to 34-year-olds: 82,129

– Number of available jobs: 37,906 (according to Indeed.com)

– Hot jobs: Retail, marketing, banking

– Top employers: Target, Wells Fargo, U.S. Bancorp

Fargo was No. 8 on this year's list:

1. Cambridge, Massachusetts
2. Bellevue, Washington
3. Austin, Texas
4. Bethesda, Maryland
5. Minneapolis
6. Hoboken, New Jersey
7. Ann Arbor, Michigan
8. Fargo, North Dakota
9. Naperville, Illinois
10. Mountain View, California
