Minnesota authorities looking for teen who disappeared two days ago

Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a young woman in west-central Minnesota who has been missing for two days.

Laura Ann Schwendemann, 18, was last seen on Wednesday night in the Douglas County town of Kensington, according to a news release on Facebook.

Both Douglas and Pope County authorities are asking anyone who has seen Schwendemann or had recent contact with her to contact them immediately.

There is no information as to the circumstances of her disappearance, or the current status of the investigation.

Her Facebook page indicates she is a resident of Starbuck, Minnesota.

Anyone who may have seen her are asked to contact the Pope County Sheriff's Office on 320-634-5411, or Douglas County on 320-762-8151.
