Minnesota corn growers cashing in

The Oct. 11 USDA crop report showed significant increases for both corn and soybean yields in Minnesota, as compared to September crop report, Corn and Soybean Digest reports. Minnesota farmers expect to harvest a record 1.39 billion bushels of corn, the USDA says.
Southwest farmer Scott Johnson told the Associated Press that this year's crop "went better than we thought it would – by a long ways – that's for sure."
