Next Wednesday, July 11, Dareian Kujawa will be among the top 20 finalists to dance on this season's two-hour live performance of the FOX reality show 'So You Think You Can Dance.' Kujawa grew up in St. Paul and graduated from the Saint Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2010.

St. Paul native Dareian "Dare" Kujawa is rising in the ranks on the Fox reality TV competition "So You Think You Can Dance." Kujawa, 20, cracked the top 20 on the show Wednesday. He started his fancy footwork at age 4 at a Maplewood dance studio and graduated from the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists in 2010.

The private Commonwealth Fund ranked the St. Paul region the best out of more than 300 areas across the country. Rochester and Minneapolis were also among the top five. It's based on access to health care, prevention, treatment and healthy living. The Duluth region was placed 70th.

Eagan native Nicholas David has a big show ahead of him Monday night as he will compete with 11 other finalists on NBC's singing competition "The Voice." David, whose real name is Nicholas David Mrozinski, took time out to speak about the competition with KARE-TV, which airs the show locally.
