A 6-year-old Minnesota girl thought to have been taken from her home by her father and grandfather has been found safely in Iowa.

An "endangered person advisory" was shared in Missouri after the girl was reported missing on January 2, having been taken from her home in Faribault.

Her father and grandfather, 33-year-old Daniel and 62-year-old Ricky Krotzer, were believed to have taken her in violation of a court order.

Authorities had reason to believe the suspects were in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, on Friday afternoon.

But according to KDHL, the girl was found along with the vehicle she was traveling in by the Iowa State Patrol that same afternoon.

There was no mention of the Krotzers, such as whether they were arrested or if they're still at large.
