A girl from Oakdale's dream came true at Basilica Block Party Saturday night when she got to meet and sing with her idol.

Alexa Kirkwood was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer back in February and the song that helps her continue her fight is Rachel Platten's "Fight Song,"

And on Saturday, the soon-to-be second-grader got to meet the star. Platten and Alexa hung out in the star's dressing room and they sang "Fight Song" together, her

Platten also dedicated her performance of "Fight Song" to Alexa, Basilica Block Party's Facebook page says.

Actors Woody Harrelson and Lauren Dern, who have been seen around town for the past few weeks while filming "Wilson", were also spotted at the weekend concert.
