Minnesota machine makes Oprah's "Favorite Things" list
Saying she’s “forever grateful” to her trainer for introducing her to the Q37ci Elliptical Trainer machine, Oprah Winfrey included the Minnesota-made item in her “Favorite Things 2012” list.
The Business Journal reports that the product comes from Brooklyn Park-based Octane Fitness.
The 60 item list will be published in the December issue of O magazine. On her website, Winfrey praised the elliptical machine, writing, "It provides such a variety of total body workouts, including goal programs, like a 10K and half marathon—along with digital heart rate monitoring—that you're more exhilarated than exhausted afterward.
Octane Fitness will acknowledge the recognition by offering a 10 percent-off MSRP coupon for any of its elliptical machines.
