Minnesota man found dead in Florida lake

Violent crimes detectives are investigating.

A Minnesota man was found dead in a Florida lake on Saturday. 

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the discovery of a body in a lake was reported around 4p.m. Saturday in a suburban area of Lake Worth, a city on the east coast of Florida, about 10 miles south of West Palm Beach or 60 miles north of Miami. 

Firefighters were first on the scene at the lake inside Bay Hill Village at Winston Trails development and pulled the man's body from the water, pronouncing him dead on scene. 

The sheriff's office identified him as Aaron Lenz, 27, of Minnesota. 

The news release from the sheriff's office says detectives from the Violent Crimes Division responded to the scene and is investigating the death.
