Minnesota man killed after 2 pickups crash into ditch near Little Falls
A central Minnesota man died in a crash just north of Little Falls Sunday afternoon.
Dennis Jaschke of Randall was behind the wheel of an F150, going westbound on Highway 115 in Randall around 4:30 p.m., the Minnesota State Patrol said. At Highway 10, the 69-year-old turned left to enter the southbound lanes.
When he did, he turned in front of an F350 with a camper topper being driven by Lorri Nieradzik of Black Diamond, Washington, the State Patrol said.
This caused both vehicles to enter the ditch, and both the F350 and trailer overturned.
Jaschke was taken to St Cloud Hospital but died.
Lorri Nieradzik, 67, and the F350's lone passenger — 64-year-old David Nieradzik, also from Black Diamond, Washington — suffered non-life threatening injuries, and were not transported to the hospital.
All three people involved were wearing seat belts, and the State Patrol does not believe alcohol was a factor.
