More than 180 law enforcement officers from Minnesota are in Washington, D.C. to help with the Presidential inauguration on Monday, Jan. 21, Minnesota Public Radio reports. Forty deputies and supervisors from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office will be sworn in as deputy marshals, briefed and assigned on Sunday.

President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden took their oath of office for their second terms during separate private ceremonies Sunday morning, USA Today reports. A Constitution mandate requires that the president take the oath on Jan. 20.

Roughly 800,000 people are expected to gather Monday, Jan. 21, on the National Mall to witness the ceremonial swearing-in on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

The Fergus Falls High School marching band will perform in the 57th Inaugural Parade. This is second consecutive trip to Washington, D.C., for the Otters who also played during the 2009 inaugural festivities.
