Minnesota sheriff: 'This is how not to use the dump'

Gotta love those security cameras!

In a rush? Feeling lazy? No matter, the local dump isn't called that just so people can literally throw their trash on the ground and leave.

Prime example, this

The video was posted to Facebook by the Beltrami County Sheriff's Office, which gave a nifty headline of "HOW TO NOT USE THE DUMP."

It shows a white truck pulling into the Solid Waste Facility in Pinewood with a couple then getting out.

The woman then empties her garbage cans and throws other trash onto the ground, before putting the cans back in the truck bed and driving off.

Unbeknownst to the pair, who were with a child, the facility has security cameras and they were tracked down by the sheriff's department.

"This type of behavior is an inconvenience to us all... including your neighbors who also need to use the facility," the sheriff's office said.

The post has been viewed on Facebook more than 50,000 times since Tuesday, and received hundreds of shares.
