Minnesota polling locations experienced a few hiccups as voters hit the polls Tuesday morning.

Voting was delayed for about 15 minutes in St. Paul's 4th precinct because of mixup with ballots. Machines wouldn't accept ballots that were intended for precinct 5, KARE 11 says. An election official told the television station that the ballots were quickly swapped and voting resumed.

In Minneapolis, a number of machines called "M100 Tabulators" went down, but voting continued.

Twin Cities voters stood in long lines with wait times of at least 90 minutes in some cases.

Some voters in a Duluth precinct received bad ballots that still had democratic lawmaker Kerry Gauthier on the ballot, the Associated Press reports. Gauthier dropped his bid for reelection after admitting to sexual misconduct with a 17-year-old boy.

City officials say the correct ballots were delivered about an hour after polls opened.
