Minnesotans arrested after 100 mph police chase in Nebraska
Two Minnesotans were arrested in Nebraska after leading state troopers on a 100 mph interstate chase.
The Nebraska State Patrol says it arrested a 34-year-old St. Paul man and a 23-year-old Columbia Heights woman after the incident on Monday morning.
They were in a Kia Forte that didn't pull over during an attempted traffic stop between Lincoln and Omaha, and led police on a pursuit that touched 100 mph.
Eventually, the fleeing suspects stopped on westbound I-80, having initially been traveling east but then crossing the median to turn around.
The pair are being held in Sarp County Jail, with the man accused of avoiding arrest, willful reckless driving, and possession of a controlled substance.
The woman is being held on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
