Minnesota's COVID-19 data won't be updated on Thanksgiving
Minnesota's COVID-19 figures will not be updated on Thanksgiving Day, the Minnesota Department of Health has confirmed.
The latest figures are typically released at 11 a.m. every day, but will take a break on Thursday.
Instead, the figures for Wednesday, Nov. 25 will be posted at 11 a.m. Friday, with the weekly report released as usual on Friday afternoon.
The figures for Thanksgiving Day and Friday meanwhile will be combined for the report at 11 a.m. Saturday.
That means we can expect Saturday's data release to feature bumper cases, hospitalizations and deaths as they will combine two days' worth of figures.
The holiday also means that the media briefing held at 2 p.m. Tuesday by the Minnesota Department of Health will be the only one held this week.
They are expected to resume on Monday.
You can find the latest COVID-19 figures here on the MDH website.
