Arden Hills man found safe after more than 3 weeks missing

Authorities say it's unusual for him to be out of contact.
Jacob Daniel Hornsby

UPDATE 3:45 P.M. SEPT. 9

Authorities now say Jacob Hornsby has been located and is safe.

Original story

The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to keep an eye out for an Arden Hills man who hasn't been seen or heard from in more than a week.

Jacob Daniel Hornsby was last heard from Aug. 12 and there has been no contact with him since, the sheriff's office says. Authorities say they are concerned for his welfare because it's unusual for Hornsby to be out of contact.

Hornsby is described as being 5'11'', 155 pounds with a shaved head or military style haircut. He sometimes wears glasses.

Hornsby might be driving a blue 2005 Ford Escape with a Minnesota license plate CJV224.

Anyone with information on Hornsby’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the Ramsey County Sheriff's Office at 651-266-7320 or dial 911.
