Missing western WI teen may be headed for Twin Cities

Authorities in western Wisconsin are asking the public for help finding a teenage girl who left her home on Wednesday night and hasn't been seen since. 

Charli Carlin, who lives about 50 miles east of the Minnesota-Wisconsin border in southern Dunn County, is 15 years old and described as a runaway:

The Dunn County Sheriff's Office believes she left home of her own free will; however, little else is known about her disappearance, including who she might be traveling with.

What authorities do know is that Carlin apparently doesn't have access to a phone, and that she may be headed to either Kansas City of the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

No one has heard from her since the night she left. 

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to contact the Dunn County sheriff at 715-232-1348, while anonymous tips can be left with Dunn County Crime Stoppers.
