The father of a missing St Paul woman is asking people to join the community search for his daughter's body.

The Pioneer Press reports that Jay Steger, father of Kira Trevino, encouraged volunteers to join in five searches scheduled for this weekend. The searches include returning to Keller Lake, where an item of interest was found last weekend. Additional searches by law enforcement did not turn up anything.

Although Kira Trevino's body has not been found, her husband Jeffery, 39, was charged on Feb. 28 with two counts of second-degree murder.

The searches include:

-- Saturday, 10 a.m., Keller Lake, 2166 Maplewood Drive, Maplewood.

-- Saturday, 2 p.m., Beaver Lake, 1050 Edgewater Blvd., St. Paul.

-- Sunday, 10 a.m., Keller Lake, 2166 Maplewood Drive, Maplewood.

-- Sunday, 2 p.m., Round Lake, Maplewood.

--Sunday, 2 p.m., Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge.

This will be the fourth weekend of volunteer searches. Police ask volunteers to call 911 if they find any evidence and warn them to stay off the ice.
