A two-vehicle crash in the Rochester area has left a local family grieving for a father of three.

Gregory W. Greseth, 32, was driving on a gravel road near Pine Island when his pickup truck collided with a sedan on Thursday morning, the Post Bulletin reports.

Greseth, who lived in Wanamingo, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 18-year-old sedan driver was airlifted to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, the paper says.

Greseth's obituary says he was an Air Force veteran who served from 2006 to 2014 and, since his honorable discharge, had been studying to become a nurse. He was the father of three boys and had a fiancee.

The exact nature of the injuries that killed him isn't clear.

The injuries suffered by the other driver, who's been identified as Micah Johnson, are also not clear.

Johnson is a senior at Kenyon-Wanamingo High School, the Star Tribune notes.

Greseth is scheduled to be buried with military honors on Tuesday, following a 2 p.m. funeral at Emmanuel Lutheran Church - Aspelund in rural Wanamingo.
