More body parts relating to the death of Adam Johnson have been found in Minneapolis.
The Minneapolis Police Department said police responded to the area of West River Parkway and Franklin Avenue, in the Seward neighborhood of south Minneapolis, at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday on a report of human remains being found.
Police located the remains and identified them as being related to the Johnson case.
Police have described his death as a targeted attack, not random, and said Johnson had not been reported missing prior to the grim discovery.
His death is being investigated as a homicide, and the police department said late last week they were still looking for additional body parts.
Police said Tuesday "dozens of tips" have come in and "detectives are making progress in this investigation," but did not say more.
