Motorcycle crashes into pickup truck, killing 19-year-old Twin Cities man
The man killed after crashing into a pickup truck in the Twin Cities over the weekend has been identified as a 19-year-old.
The Anoka County Sheriff's Office on Monday said Veaceslav Iurie Liubimov, from Ramsey, died at the scene of the crash around 1:24 p.m. Saturday in Nowthen, Minnesota.
Liubimov had been traveling westbound on Viking Boulevard NW, the sheriff's office said, when he slammed into the passenger side of a pickup that was turning from eastbound Viking Boulevard on to Iguana Street NW.
A man and woman in the truck were no injured, according to authorities.
The crash is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol and Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
