A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Inver Grove Heights on Thursday evening.
Kou Yang, 31, of St. Paul, was traveling north on Highway 3 when the Minnesota State Patrol says he "lost control in a curve" just before 7:30 p.m.
Yang was then thrown from his 2015 Yamaha bike and hit a road sign, causing fatal injuries.
The State Patrol says conditions were dry, Yang was wearing a helmet, and alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
There have been 120 fatal crashes in Minnesota so far this year, compared to 93 at the same time last year.
