A fatal crash with a vehicle has left a motorcyclist dead in Sauk Rapids.
Late Friday afternoon, a 16-year-old driving a 2010 Nissan Altima collided with 59-year-old Michael Brannan on a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The teenager was turning left from southbound County Road 7 onto County Road 44 as Brannan was heading north on County Road 7, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
Brannan was pronounced dead at the scene after deputies arrived.
Deputies report Brennan had tried to brake but was unable to stop in time. The crash remains under investigation.
So far in 2020, there have been 190 fatal incidents on Minnesota roads, compared to 183 at the same time last year.
