Motorcyclist killed in possibly intentional hit-and-run in Minneapolis
Minneapolis police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run involving a motorcycle they believe may have been intentional.
The crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle happened at 2:32 p.m. Tuesday on the 3100 block of Queen Avenue North.
When police arrived, they found a man on the ground without a pulse and who wasn't breathing, police said. He was taken to the hospital in grave condition, and later died.
"Preliminary investigation reveals that the contact between the suspect vehicle and the motorcycle may have been intentional," a news release says. "Based on this, detectives from the Homicide Unit are leading this investigation."
The medical examiner will release the victim's identity and his nature and cause of death in the coming days.
