Mr. Fitz is an author in real life too – and he's coming to Mall of America

The Pretty Little Liars star wrote a memoir about being a celebrity – and about bird watching.

The guy who plays Ezra Fitz on Pretty Little Liars is coming to Mall of America to talk about his new (real) book.

Ian Harding will be at the mall's Rotunda Sunday at 1 p.m. to meet fans and sign copies of his memoirOdd Birds, which tells Harding's story through the lens of one of his favorite activities – bird watching, a news release says.

Odd Birds is described as a "coming-of-age story" in which Harding "wrestles with the dilemma of how he can still be himself while also being a celebrity."

As for if Harding's time playing Ezra inspired him to write a memoir, he told Wet Paint in an interview it actually didn't dawn on him until after he started writing.

Then he realized how "this could be a horrible cliche that I thought 'Oh I do it on television, I'll do the same thing in real life.' ... I just wanted to do it. I wanted another form of self expression or creativity that didn't really involve a ton of people."
