Passengers at MSP airport not lovin' fast-food changes

McDonald's french fries or Big Macs are no longer an option at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International airport, at least for now. The Star Tribune reports the fast-food chain was forced out of its location in Concourse G once Delta Air Lines decided it wanted to give travelers some new options. The Golden Arches can relocate within the Humphrey terminal, but has yet to do so.

The Humphrey Terminal, also known as Terminal 2, has a new larger security checkpoint to help reduce the wait time for passengers traveling through the Twin Cities, the Pioneer Press reports. The Metropolitan Airports Commission, which runs the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, says it is designed to screen 150 additional travelers each hour. The $16 million expansion also features additional space for new restaurants that will open early next year.
