Ling & Louie's Kitchen, an Asian fusion restaurant, will open on Nicollet Mall by Thanksgiving, the Business Journal reports.
The multi-level, 6,500 square foot space is located at Nicollet Mall and 9th Street across from Target and kitty-corner from Target Headquarters. FOX 9 says the restaurant will share the block with Barrio and The Local.
Ling and Louie's will also have a rooftop patio, but it's not likely to open until next year.
The Business Journal describes the menu as a mix of P.F. Chang's China Bistro and Kona Grill, featuring a variety of Asian entrees, sushi, steaks, burgers and tacos.
CEO Michael McDermott, a Minnesota native, runs Rojo Mexican Grill in St. Louis Park's West End, along with COO Jason Merritt. The two also ran Kona Grill.
McDermott's dad, Marno McDermott, was co-founder of the popular restaurant chain Chi-Chi's.
There are six other Ling and Louie's Asian Bar and Grill locations across the country.
