A possible explosion at a home in South Minneapolis has left no one seriously injured.

WCCO-TV reports that crews were dispatched to a house at 4220 26th Avenue South on Sunday morning after witnesses reported hearing a loud boom that knocked out the windows. Smoke was pouring from the home as firefighters arrived. An older woman had minor injuries and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

KSTP-TV reports that fire investigators believe the blaze began in the basement, where old ammunition was stored. The investigation has not yet determined whether any ammunition ignited.

KSTP also reports that the blaze was not easy to extinguish because of the amount of possessions inside the home. Last week, a St Paul veteran died when firefighters had difficulty getting into his burning house because of the large amount of clutter.
