Toyota Motor Co. is recalling more than 7.4 million vehicles around the world due to a potential fire hazard, NBC News reports. It is the largest auto recall in 16 years. According to a company news release, the voluntary safety recall affects about 2.5 million Toyota models sold in the United States between 2005 and 2010, including Corolla, Camry and Highlander.

Rochester company recalls potentially contaminated meat

Reichel Foods, of Rochester, is recalling about 15,880 pounds of ready-to-eat meat products because of a possible contamination with listeria. The U.S. Dept. of Agriculture says the recalled products are 5.6-ounce packages of Armour Active Packs Turkey and Cheese Wrap and Armour Active Packs Ham and Cheese Wrap.

Trader Joe's peanut butter recall spreads to more supermarkets

New Mexico-based Sunland Inc. is expanding its recall of peanut and almond butter over concerns of possible salmonella contamination, according to CBS News. The recall now includes more than 100 nut products sold at many U.S. supermarkets, including Target and Whole Foods Market.

Arctic Cat recalling 19,000 snowmobiles

The Thief River Falls company is recalling the vehicles because of an issue that can cause the driver to lose steering control. WDAZ says there have been four reports of malfunctions but no injuries. The recall includes the F, XF and M models sold between May 2011 and December 2011.
