Franciscan nun turning 100 years old
Sister Justina Bieganek will celebrate the milestone on January 15. The St. Cloud Times says Bieganek came to central Minnesota on an orphan train in 1913. She was adopted by an Avon family and later joined the St. Francis convent in Little Falls. During the past 82 years she has organized orphan train reunions and served as an advocate for orphans.
