Officer-involved shooting at Walmart in Brooklyn Park

The reported shooting happened around noon Monday.

There has been an officer-involved shooting at at Walmart in Brooklyn Park, according to the Star Tribune, which cites emergency dispatch audio. 

Shots were fired around 12:05 p.m. at the Walmart located in the 8000 block of Lakeland Ave. N., with a man shot at least four times. No officers were hurt, the report says. The shooting has been confirmed by WCCO through the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office. 

Multiple citizen reports on social media say there is a large police presence at the scene, with one person saying they heard numerous gunshots.
