Paragon Outlet Partners unveiled some of the retailers that will have shops at the new open-air outlet mall in Eagan, Business Journal reports.

The Maryland-based developer behind the project announced Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Calvin Klein, Coach, Crazy 8, Gap, J. Crew, Janie & Jack, Johnston & Murphy, Michael Kors, Nike, Polo Ralph Lauren, Puma, Swarovski, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen and Wilson's Leather are among the roughly 100 brands that will be featured.

Additional stores will be announced as the construction process progresses.

They'll join Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th, which announced in December it will open a 28,000-square-foot discount store at the new upscale mall.

"It will be filled with the most iconic brands you've come to know and love," said Paragon Principal Bob Brvenik, according to the Journal.

Patch notes construction crews broke ground Tuesday on the $100 million retail complex in Eagan's Cedar Grove Redevelopment District.

The new outlet mall, slated to open next year, is expected to create thousands of Twin Cities jobs.

Meanwhile, the Business Journal says an Apple Valley residential developer has offered to buy a 4.8-acre site from the city of Eagan. Stonebridge Cos. wants to build a four-story, 180-unit apartment complex on the site near the new outlet mall.
