One dead in head-on crash in west-central Minnesota
A fatal crash on Highway 27 in Grant County, west-central Minnesota, closed the road Thursday morning.
According to an incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash occurred just after 5 a.m. west of Hoffman. The State Patrol is still investigating the incident.
State Patrol Public Information Officer Sgt. Jesse Grabow reported on Twitter that the crash was head-on between a passenger vehicle and a semi.
The passenger vehicle was killed in the crash, while the semi driver sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 27 is closed both ways between U.S. Highway 59 and County Highway 23. Closures will last until Thursday at 11 a.m.
