One person drowned and two others were rescued after their canoe tipped over in a Twin Cities lake Tuesday.
The water emergency was reported on Gervais Lake, in Little Canada, at around 7 p.m. after the canoe carrying the trio of males tipped over.
Two of the canoeists were pulled from the water alive, but the third went below the water, with his body recovered at 11:13 p.m.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office says that the victim's family was at the scene and were notified. The victim will be identified by the medical examiner at a later date.
KSTP reports that the victim was an adult, with another adult and a juvenile male the ones rescued.
