Passenger killed in crash northwest of Twin Cities

The crash happened on Saturday evening.

A passenger was killed after being ejected from a vehicle in a crash near Otsego over the weekend.

The crash involved a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe, which rolled over near the intersection of County Road 39 NE and County Road 19 in Otsego at around 7:20 p.m. Saturday.

Responders arrived to find the Chevy on its roof in the north ditch of County Road 39.

The passenger, identified as Ravaunne Kendrick, 35, of Zimmerman, Minnesota, had been thrown from the vehicle. She died at the scene from her injuries.

The driver, identified as 37-year-old Sean Silk, of Mahtomedi,suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital for treatment.

The crash is currently being investigated by the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
