Pedestrian hit, killed by truck near Hinckley

The Minnesota State Patrol says a Ford pickup struck a 20-year-old Hinckley man on Minnesota Highway 48 just west of the intersection with County Road 20 in Pine County Saturday evening, the Duluth News Tribune reports.

The victim, Dylan Benjamin, died at the scene.

The Pioneer Press notes alcohol was not detected in the 54-year-old driver of the truck. He was not injured.
