An Andover man was killed Saturday evening when he was struck by a car in Mora, Minnesota.
The incident was reported shortly before 8 p.m. on Hwy 65, near mile post 64 in Kanabec County.
A southbound Hyundai Santa Fe, driven by a 28-year-old woman from Mora, struck a "pedestrian in the traffic lane," according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The victim, who hasn't been named yet but who is a 57-year-old man from Andover, Minnesota, was "crossing Highway 65 from east to west."
Neither the Hyundai driver or the 30-year-old passenger also in the car were injured.
The Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety says there have been 21 fatalities on Minnesota roads so far in 2021, compared to 24 at the same date in 2020.
