Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run on Interstate 694

It happened around 2:30 a.m. in Vadnais Heights.

A female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on Interstate 694 in Vadnais Heights at around 2:30 a.m. Friday.  

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the female was hit by a red passenger car in the eastbound lanes of I-694 at Edgerton Street. The car fled that fled the scene has been identified as a 2013-2016 model Audi. 

The victim has been identified as Aelicia Taylor, 38, of St. Paul. 

Anyone with information about the Audi is asked to call the Minnesota State Patrol at 651-582-1509. They say the driver of the vehicle may not have been aware that they hit the woman.
