The woman critically injured after being struck by a possibly impaired driver in St. Paul on Friday evening has died.
The St. Paul Police Department confirmed on Saturday afternoon that pedestrian hit when crossing West 7th Street died at Regions Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle that hit her, a 19-year-old girl, has been booked into Ramsey County Jail for probable cause criminal vehicular operation.
Police had earlier said she might have been impaired at the time of the crash, which happened near the intersection with South Homer Street at 8:15 p.m.
BMTN does not typically name those accused of crimes until they have been charged.
The police investigation continues.
