The Minnesota BCA says 5-month-old Ocean-Rae Lavera Woods has been located and is safe, and the 29-year-old suspect whom the BCA initially identified has been cleared of any wrongdoing.

The BCA says the girl was located with her biological father.

"An AMBER Alert was not issued in this case because of the rapidly developing information and the safe location of the child. Law enforcement will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this reported abduction," the BCA said.

The suspect was identified in a previous version of our story, but since he has been cleared his identity has been removed from the story.

Original story

The Minnesota BCA says an Amber Alert is pending after a child was abducted in Brooklyn Center on Tuesday afternoon.

The BCA says 5-month-old Ocean-Rae Lavera Woods was taken from near Camden avenue North and 70th Avenue North in Brooklyn Center around 4:15 p.m., with the suspect stealing the vehicle that belongs to the child's mother.

The baby was last seen wearing a pink jacket and pink pants.

"Investigators believe there is a firearm in the vehicle & Jones has threatened the mother & child before. Anyone w/info on Jones & the child should call 911," the BCA says.
