The man investigators call "a person of interest" in the disappearance of 27-year-old Danielle Jelinek will go on trial for drug charges.

The Star Tribune reports 28-year-old Aaron Schnagl pleaded not guilty to first-degree drug possession, fifth-degree possession and fifth-degree sale of marijuana stemming from a search of his residence after Jelinek was reported missing on Dec. 9.

Chisago County sheriff's deputies removed 12 pounds of marijuana in vacuum-sealed bags from Schangl's BMW. The newspaper reports 39.2 ounces of cocaine was also found at his home in Chisago County Township.

A subsequent test showed Schnagl had cocaine in his system, according to court documents.

The jury trial is scheduled for March 4.

Schangl, the last person to see Jelinek, has not been charged in her disappearance.

Investigators continue seek clues that will lead to Jelinek's whereabouts. A $1,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information relating to the case.
