Pinnacle Airlines still weeks away from headquarters decision
Pinnacle Airlines Corp., which flies regional jets for Delta Air Lines, is still working its way through the bankruptcy process. A spokesman for the Memphis-based regional carrier tells the Pioneer Press the final report is several weeks. Pinnacle is exploring every opportunity to reduce costs, including whether to move its corporate headquarters to the Twin Cities.
In August, the board of directors at Pinnacle Airlines eliminated Detroit from consideration for its potential new home office.
Mesaba Airlines was acquired by Pinnacle in July 2010. The company’s 50,000-square-foot Eagan headquarters was closed earlier this year.
Pinnacle filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization in April.
